The Where: Not telling! Just picture some place in the middle of the U.S.
The Why: For almost a year, I was a member of a group that would receive Amazon codes for free or discounted products in exchange for testing out the products and leaving an honest review. This was a great opportunity to buy or receive products I otherwise might not have heard of, let alone purchase. While there were some lemons in the bunch (a pasta maker that left flakes of . . . something . . . in the pasta, charcoal blotting paper that removed my makeup instead of my shine, etc.), I also found a number of products that I loved.
Amazon recently changed its review policies to eliminate this sort of group from being able to offer these deals anymore. Some reviewers felt pressured to leave glowing reviews of not-so-great products, which was unfairly skewing ratings of these products. While my group always encouraged us to be honest with our reviews and we were certainly allowed to leave sub-par reviews, we nevertheless were stripped of the ability to leave reviews on Amazon along with all other review groups. However - nobody said we couldn't blog about the great stuff we found on Amazon! Hence the birth of
Fun Amazon Finds!
What this blog is not: A
place to find great Amazon deals. I know, I know. But I will throw

What this blog is:
A platform for introducing you to products/sellers who are just
starting out in business on Amazon and could use help to get their names
out there. Some may be great deals, some maybe not so much. On the
Amazon reviews, we were not supposed to comment on price (since the
prices could change), but we may certainly discuss price here.
Now . . . off to finding some fun Amazon products to share with you!
